Permanent Residence

1. Eligibility

  • Holder of an Employment Pass or S Pass
  • Spouse of a Singapore Citizen(SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident(PR)
  • Child of a SC or PR who is unmarried and aged under 21
  • Student studying in Singapore
  • Global Investor Programme (GIP)
    • The applicant must have a minimum of a three-year entrepreneurial and business track record and must provide the audited financial statements of his or her company from the last 3 years.
    • The applicant’s company must have a turnover of at least S$50 million in the year immediately preceding the application date and an average turnover of S$50 million per annum for the immediately preceding three years before the application date.
    • The applicant must have a minimum shareholding of 30% in his company if it is a privately-held company. Additionally, the applicant’s contribution towards the growth of the company will be taken into account.

Singapore Citizenship

1. Eligibility

  • PR for more than 2 years

2. Employment Pass

  • Online - Go to the Electronic Singapore Citizenship (e-SC) Application system at https://esc.ica.gov.sg. The applicant will be asked to select an appointment date after submitting the e-SC application; or
  • In-person - You must make an appointment to submit the completed application form and supporting documents at the Citizenship Unit, Level 6, ICA Building. Go to the Electronic Appointment Booking system at https://eappointment.ica.gov.sg to select your preferred date and time.

3. Documents List

  • Identity Card
  • Birth Certificate, official household census list or family register (if applicable)
  • Official Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport, or any other travel document (if any)
  • Entry Permit or Re-entry Permit
  • Educational certificates, transcripts, vocational trade or skill certificates, professional licenses, membership certificates
  • Latest letter of employment from current employer addressed to Commissioner, ICA, dated no more than 3 months from the date of citizenship application. Must state occupation, date of commencement of employment, basic and gross monthly salary
  • Payslips from the last 6 months
  • Signed Authorisation Form (Appendix (SC)) giving consent for ICA to obtain and verify financial information provided in respect to this application with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and the Central Provident Fund Board.
  • Self-employed applicants must provide the latest Business Registration Certificate from the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), their latest balance sheet, and their profit and loss account.
  • Entry permit(s) and identity card(s) of spouse, and child/children (where applicable); foreign citizenship certificate(s) and foreign identity card(s) (if any)
  • National Service (NS) Certificate of Service for all applicants who have completed NS
